The Recompense
Trail thought insurmountable
is nearly reaching the end
The bright light seems evident
after tunnel's final bend
An illusion of long since bygone
is now taking a tangible design
Though still confounds this godsend
yet inexplicable fate's assign
It's time to test the labors
and await final judgmental decree
To see how much it were off mark,
which way and by what degree
