The Shattered
love is not blind,
Love is not jealous,
Love can stand the test of time,
and so on goes the sayings..
But when love is expressed
beyond the needs of the
situation...situation is
created....
It slowly shows signs and
delivers poison doses...
It starts to kill...
A slow bleeding death...
The heart which was once
filled with immense trust,
happiness tends to kill
oneself...
They say distance makes
the hearts grow fonder...
Pretty true mostly..
But when ta distances
tends to show up
alongside loneliness n
unwanted thoughts...
Infidelity follows
alongwith arguments,
allegations, issues...
making way for hatred to
take the center stage...
And the love which once
stood firm, unshaken on
trust...continues to show
its fragility....
The promises broken...
Love becomes a distant
past.......
