Mistake
I stood over the side
feeling the pain in heart
As I saw the shadows fade
with the moving time.
Not able to move
the sand creeping over my feet
Wind blew hard
uprooting my hopes in life.
I felt the tear
sliding over my face
Cleaning the particles
that reminded me of the past.
The sun scorched over me
turning my thoughts to ashes
Empty I felt, stranded
in a barren place.
Saw the gates of heaven
pushed far by the clouds
Felt the warm welcome
from the depths of hell.
I stared at the clock
trying to turn it around
Hoping I get a chance
to undo my "Mistake".
