Striking
It was like striking a match,
we lit up, then fizzled out.
Relationships, some last, some don't,
that's how it is.
Can't say I find it surprising
but years later I met him
in the supermarket,
buying lingerie!
Oh yes, for himself, no missus.
I had kind of guessed before
when I caught him
trying my knickers!
He always did look better
than me in underwear.
Very smooth skin ____
