My Battle

I'm in the battle of my life.
Am I strong enough to win?
Can I change my broken life
and become complete again?

If I don't soon find the strength
I know that I'll lose all.
He thinks he's won, this enemy
called drugs and alcohol.

His manager is the devil himself,
who's managed my life too.
If I'm to win, and be whole again,
I know what I must do.

I must put on the gloves of God
Alone, I am too weak.
This is one time when you're hit,
you don't turn the other cheek.

I may be down, but I'm not out..
I can feel God's strength within.
My family is here on the front row,
yelling, "come on…hit him again
