Choosing Soul
I walk the present,
by hopes of yesterday,
dreams, the past has lent,
to bear through all my way,
since all my other lives,
in essence that survives.
Chances had been lost,
and great moments were gained,
failures made the most,
or victories obtained,
some pathways would close,
but in the road I chose.
