if that's what i would ever concede
let me know when it's time to say goodbye
it got better and better till that day
when the storm came and the wind blew
when i stopped getting that fat pay
the passion in your eyes and mind flew
then you said you've had enough
if love and romance counts no more
or the cost of them mounts some more
then i'd know it's time to say goodbye
