Passing by Mother's Love
Her shame barely concealed
She lay on the pavement
Amidst arrogant feet.
Soiled, uncared, shabby,
With her loincloth
The mother covered the baby!
A moment heavenly
And in passing
Etched in me
Mother’s love!
