Sentinels In Green
Leaves a dancing.
Sentinels in green.
They cascade down the hill
An emerald waterfall.
Oak, ash, beech,
A joyous blending,
A whispering chorus.
Flirting in the wind,
This gossiping canopy.
Glorying in the sun.
Set deep in black earth
They know no boundaries.
Do not fight for their scraps of earth.
A perfect synthesis, harmonius,
Joyous to behold.
