A High Seas Drifter
A sheet of ice separated from the glacier
breaking up as it hit the sea.
A tired seal needed to rest for a while
so clambered aboard for safety.
As it slept upon the small raft of ice
it dreamed of cod and haddock.
A shark leapt into the air creating a wave
that swept the seal into its empty stomach
