An Oldness and a Daughter

I asked my daughter the question, 'Tell me the truth, do you feel the way that I am becoming old? '(I am 48 and my daughter is 17.)
My daughter responded,
'When you smoke, you are old.'

Monologue: I am not actually smoking.I am attempting to be back to dream. How did she see my oldness when I am going back to my dream?
I am just an old man waiting to see my dream appearing back to my life.
WOW!
