On That Day
Oh! Curse that one ominous day!
When the breeze declares its omnipotence..
As she trudges along the path less taken..
She will realize, for once, she came without me calling..
On that fateful day, no words shall be spoken..
Not the slightest hint of acquaintance shall be shown..
Her eyes shall overflow with never ending tears...
Seeing her pitiable state, despair shall overcome me...
I cry my heart out aloud, but to no avail...
For we have distanced ourselves from each other now..
As she wipes those heavenly tear drops..
And bids adieu, yet not wanting to leave..
I am left alone at my stone with no one,
But that rose she kept to befriend me...
