To Shelley From Harriet

My lost love, the rebllious poet,
It's me, your bygone days, Harriet.
I'm torn and endured a lot.
I won't give blame only to my lot.
I loved you and will be loving ever,
You can forget me but I'll never!
I waited for you for three years.
Could have awaited more o my dear.
At least, you loved me once in my life,
With this belief I could have survived.
I thought a born rebellion you are,
Someday, must come back quenching your fire!
But, no, ray of hope, no flickering light,
I found still now, which can help me fight.
This battle of unrequited love,
This road is uncertain and very rough.
I can't stand anymore this fevered life,
Always with pain, and intolerable strife!
I will get myself drowned in Serpentine lake,
Though I know, it won't give you any shake!
Is it my destiny, my inevitable fate?
Forgive me, and my love, with last kiss-Harriet.
