Judges

From the outside looking in
Maliciously seeking any perception of sin
Any strange behavior not to their liking
Ponucing on weaknesses, triumphantly striking
These are the judges of my life
I try to side step, trying to avoid the strife
Vendettas in unlikely people and places
So hard to discern all the many fake faces
And they keep coming from every which way
Trying their best to destroy my day
At a loss as to what to do or what to say
I fall to my knees with a cry and I pray
Hoping that this blight will just go away
So I can focus on the important
Bring my life's light out of dormant
I am a hermit
To be me, I need no permit
