Running into the sun burning alive
Not wishing to survive

people need some reason to believe
and all my plans are ill conceived

Honey you were the resson I was going high
Til you crushed my dreams with all your lies

now I sit on the Post Office steps
all the tears wept

And I dream about the stars
Laugh about the scars

when I finally stop it's just another wish
take away the pain what-ya accomplished

I gambled on a moon in the evening sky
Never considered there may be reasons why

but these stars burn blue and cold
they are not here to burn I'm told

They come this time just to take away
Any answers lingerling, any breath that stay
