The Devil Inside Me
The devil inside me is struggling to be free.
I fight it down.
Yet with strong anger and hate it's outward bound.
I want the good I try so hard.
But by others I'm misunderstood.
They push and push until I break.
There is no road to low to take.
I want them to feel the pain inside.
All the worthlessness I try to hide.
So when I burst the devil inside,
comes to take their worthless hyde.
I'm so ashamed of the things he's done.
Though I'd rather have him fight than turn and run.
