Have your eyes, ever gazed upon
an old woman
waltzing, sightless
in front of you?
Have you ever thought of tenderness
smelling the hair of a fresh bathed little one
on the first day of a leap year spring?
Are these moments real or unconscious dreams
are you dreaming of a coaster thrill
in the middle of January in Orlando?
Have you been mesmerized
by an Angel named Chris?
Only to be wakened by
A vivacious hospital nurse
On your death bed
