An Appointment, I await! ! ! ! ! !
Right on time,
I said as I smiled
And put my glass of
Cointreau aside.
Just wait,
Let me put this clock away,
Its ticking,
Feels like an intrusion.
For now
I want to believe you will
Hold me till eternity
In silence
Am filled with ecstasy
As you embrace me
In stillness
While no one is prying.
Life in a metro
Is like a whirring machine.
O Night
In your arms
I forget
And rejuvenate.
You are the only one
Who never forgets
Our appointment.
