Amazing Love in Everything
I love the crescent moon at seven,
And the setting sun at eight.
The lilac bushes blossoming in spring,
And the velvet muzzle of a horse.
I love the sweet scent of grass
Upon their breath,
And the adventurous romance in a ride.
I love the fresh sensation of the earth
After a light shower,
I love the flowing silkiness of long hair,
And the swiftness of a stream.
The rest after a day's hard toil.
And the break between the weeks.
I love the warmth in my mother's hug,
Or the warmth of home in wintertime.
The intricate design in a snowflake,
Or in a maple's leaf.
I love the radiance of the stars at night,
Uncountable are they.
A family that loves, a God that saves..
Truly, these things,
Shall leave me amazed.
