A Cup of Tea After Dad`s Death
Exactly the right colour, the perfect amount of milk
one of Mum`s specials, as we gathered round the table
in the kitchen and put the pictures together,
the blue lights and the friendly doctor, who asked
what to do with his dressing gown.
Well it was rather a nice one said Mum.
Then it all went quiet, too late to go to bed,
too early to get up.
