Too Many Are In It to Play the Ratings Game
It's overboard and ridiculous.
Outrageous, dysfunctional and sick.
And somehow it fits.
A match for one who has the wit.
Enabling one to admit...
Aren't our lives meant to live,
And not explain?
Why drain a brain to obtain fortune and fame?
Too many are in it to play the ratings game!
To do it would still leave unbelievers.
Even if previewed and critiqued.
With many gritting their teeth...
And grimacing in their seats.
Some truths are better left unrevealed.
Even if it means to conceal...
What would profit as a best seller.
Some memories are there just to be one's own!
