Optimistically Conscious
I don't think people question why you exist.
As much as they are curious,
About the time and space wasted...
By someone who appears to be,
Optimistically conscious.
And this has become for them a mystery.
Although for those,
Who have chosen to keep their mouths closed...
They perceive your entire existence as tragic.
'Unfortunately...
I'm doing the best I can to deliver,
And not disappoint!
And you?
What is it you feel? '
I feel as if I could have danced all night.
And not be bother by interrogations!
Or the televised lifestyles,
Of proclaimed terrorists shopping...
From hardware store to hardware store,
To piece together bombs...
They 'allegedly' intend to plant,
To threaten innocent lives.
When I can not go into a convenient store...
Or purchase gasoline without someone speaking,
In an Arabic tongue.
'Okay, cool!
So it's working! '
What?
'The effectiveness of the intended inflicted paranoia.'
Oh...
I thought you were referring to the perception of your tragicness.
'Naw.
I'm still working on that.
Everytime I think I'm ready to reveal it...
Reality tries to outdo my own act.'
I know.
And folks can not see themselves,
Already living that tragedy!
And for them,
Living in a state of denial 24/7 'is' their paranoia.
As they do their best to updat the worse of times.
