My Bond and Soul Contract
If I made an excuse,
For each mistake I've made...
On a path I am still paving,
Along the way...
I would stay put and not adventure.
Or discover a fear,
That my actions aren't approved.
And I should select,
From a host of other...
Less challenging ventures.
But I am not here to prove I can undo,
What has been done.
Since I live my life unrehearsed.
On this Earth...
Under Moon, Stars and Sun!
And if I am cursed for not being perfect...
At least I am proud to learn,
I can fall, get up and stand!
To yearn.
And not be discouraged by obstacles,
Others are afraid to face alone.
Or come to comprehend,
And/or understand on their own.
I can chip away at boulders.
And still maintain my faith.
God has already shown to me...
Failures are man made.
And I am not here to claim failure,
As my fate!
Mistakes?
Yes!
Failures?
No!
I am not growing to identify 'that'...
As my destiny.
I am here to achieve,
Because I believe I can!
And I will...
Since I am the product,
Of My Father's desires!
AND...
To do what The Almighty chooses.
'That' is my bond and soul contract!
My Father and I keep in close contact.
In fact...
If My Father is not pleased,
With my deeds...
Guess who will be the first to know?
Guess to 'whom' I go to...
For my comfort and growth?
And that is why,
My survival...
Is dependent upon His confidence,
I am given!
To keep my movements unconfused.
And that is why 'we' do...
As My Maker and I choose.
If I made an excuse,
For each mistake I've made...
On a path I am still paving,
Along the way...
I would stay put and not adventure.
Or discover a fear,
That my actions aren't approved.
And I should select,
From a host of other...
Less challenging ventures.
I 'use' to do that...
When I was on my knees in tears.
Swept away by doubts that would appear.
And left to lay flat on my back!
Before I realized...
Who initiated and keeps,
My bond and soul contract intact!
