Do Not Hesitate to Enjoy the Lemonade

Some had it once,
And dropped it flaunting.
When the flow of dollars came...
Some folks went insane.
Few could stock,
Or pocket them to prepare for shock!
Those dollars decreased in prize.
Leaving many stunned...
And caught quite surprised,
When the dollar began to tilt...
To take a nose dive!
Right before their eyes.

Some believed having it,
Would keep their lives lived above others...
And seen by them
As being more fortunate
To be among those considered 'legit'!
Backed by good credit ratings.
And nepotism appointments given them.
Just to brag and sit witless!

Looking down on others.
Fathers leaving mothers.
Sisters getting their hair and nails done.
Just to tell their 'brothers'...
They are no good for them,
Or anyone!

Now very few of them
Have themselves to depend on.
Without money in their lives...
Their pride and dignity,
Has taken quite a slide!
And that quality of life...
They climbed to pursue delusional heights,
Has died!
Taking with it what they no longer now hide.
Tears of grief that pains deep with no relief!

'When life presents lemons...
Do not hesitate to enjoy the lemonade,
You've made! '

Those are the thoughts,
Of those who stood strong.
With prayer and faith...
To someday have God,
Correct all wrongs!
And that dawn seems to have come.
In full view...
To see those receive,
An undoing of deceiving deeds!
Planted by the seeds.
Surrounding them to suffocate,
And smother amongst the weeds!

'When life presents lemons...
Do not hesitate to enjoy the lemonade,
You've made! '

And some will choose to booze their minds...
Hopeful that a fading time,
Returns!
Blinded and grinded with deficits that churn!
Stinging with a burning they alone have earned!
