Life is Lit
True charm meet
Walks on tree-lined streets
Sandy feet
Barrels to the dawn
In the afternoon yawn
He mows the lawn
She hears, she sees
The little pitter-patter
Of upbeat hearts
Soon grown.
Timeline of memories
Both a cosmic and comic feat
There are two ways about it
Smiles, the happy treat
Imagine the softest cloud
To rest the gentlest prayer
A thousand words sensed
On one canvas
Circling the core of the Earth
He needs her.
Each a life-form
Standing alone
Against a wall of its own
Breathe its aura
A story
Just as the tiger eats the lamb
Everyone can be your friend
And everyone can be your enemy
Life is lit
By winning ways in respect
By truth in trust
By faith in love
By peace in vital courage.
