Terms Of Endearment
Sate flowers from Rembrandt's sorrow
Dressed in gold she stares in opulence
Gone from the axis of sojourning time
Paint her with all your bright color
Let her live in sweet butterfly myth
Severed empires strange as funerals
Burning sea shines like midnight ships
Chase your dreams in chests of silk
Tears of marble memory cold and aloof
Purple adulation sired by orators
The waning moon stutters its poetry
Stars in blue evening gowns sigh
Quills of epochs touch the ethereal
Ancient Neptune in cribs of white light
The other kingdom is a living mandella
Fresco of balance in Syrian ink
Stones lay silent like caves
Touch the fire laying in the epithets
Ceremony where gates agree
Where the priests mean what they say
The wind sings with silent souls
All this cryptic love from far away
She whispers from a wife gone
She loves you and always will
Every father watches over
Hear the refined hope sublime and true
Everything dissipates into mortal terms
A wisp in the hallway
The chimes of the clock
Terms of endearment never go away
