Stay Open to Love
Mystic rain pours like roses
We are defendants in the circus
Consciousness with elder serpents
Chains of ancient trees we see not
Wrapped in chaos born in choice
Responsibility severs innocents
Time shares knowledge, guilt
Run in a thousand uniforms
Run in a thousand masks
Chased by the totality
Mirror of stars won’t go away
What is your life?
Who does it belong too?
Mortality reminds us of purpose
Succored in houses
Placid with shallow windows
Our world is made small
See all the prim poems
All the love that will be buried
All the scoffers of portent
Take me away from shame based soul
Please help me run and hide
Divert me with wealth and art
Hide me from the true mirror
We run until we face love
Eternal sea like an allegory of love
Crimson dreams soft as silk
Does the other side peer
I touch clouds that praise
Glimpses of angels and living light
This present darkness dissipates
There thru the window the moon
Now dawn fills with questions
Questions I must search out
The rain washes the streets
Color fills the room
I leave the patterns
Hear a new day gently calling
Washed in self examination
Open to the truth
Open to experience
Open to hope
Open to love
