Lost Days
So many deaths
left unsheltered
a hearts tolerance
raised in solace.
To many ways
love feel to comparisons
so many ways
you cried.
Creeping in
comes a playful memory
a smile standing before
a blazing sky.
Such lips
left quiet whispers
a melody sung
before a lingering tear
this road
shall never end.
So many ways
a fondness leaves
in so many hours
death came easily.
Filling a flying night
each star
greeted in destiny
meaningful redemption
chased away by beauty
mending foreign closure.
Where the days
come and go
bringing rain
to a lost existence.
Shadows find room
to grow among
darkened roses
pale is dawn
where no longer
the heart roams.
