Future of Straw
I have a future
I built with with bricks and cement
And rods and rocks
But weak bonded future
did I join with it
The future I share with you
Of straw and ropes
And twigs and mud
The future we can't rebuild
The future of love and togetherness
Turns to enmity and loneliness
Had I power to stop such strong envy
Probably, you know what we could have accomplished
Even by now
But I lacked vision
To see the future
Even though,
If it's this way
I consider it better
Better still were my hopes
that it would be
As it was before
But alas,
Clash,
Falls our future of straw!
