Ropes Will Turn To Gold
Oh friend!
Last
night
I
searched
the
canyons
of my
mind.
Once
again
expecting
you to
jump
double
dutch.
As in
the
days of
yore.
Two
small
children
together,
laughing,
holding
hands.
I always
allowed
you
to
jump
first.
I
remained
behind
to
adjust
the
ropes
for
you.
Someday
these
ropes
will
turn
to
gold..
