Out Of The Rain
`
sun strikes swift on the horizon
slithering serpent slumbers no more
sweltering desert sand transforms
shapes surrender mirages, the mind supine
in our moving forward slivers shed
coming ahead surreal accomplishments
severely shallow - deafening, shrill
but together we stand united, hearts sublime
