The Church Will Steal Your Money
When I said the Church
Will steal your money;
Hypocrites stoop and
Say I'm greedy.
But I entreat thee
Consult thy memory
Who said my God
Is hungry?
He has all to His means
in Heavenly.
Legions of angels
At His bid and calling.
Your service should be
For humanity.
I mean the ones who
are needy.
Let us now look back
To the time of Christ
He never asked for
A dollar nor a dime,
He said,
Give out your wealth
to the suffering;
I mean the ones who
Are hungry.
