Sonnet: Stars

God stationed countless stars in sky so high
That seem to flash messages, man can’t read,
You can’t tell which is far from one near-by;
Their luminescence captivates indeed!

And littered through the sky, they seem to peep,
Like eyes of God in perfect harmony;
A source of joy that thrills all hearts that weep,
A feast to eyes that gaze from balcony!

Astronomers keep tracking each one’s orb,
Though God had fixed them high, to avoid wars;
They wear a yellow/blue and reddish garb,
Yet, no one knows the secrets of the stars!

Some day, Man hopes to land himself in Mars,
Preparing for the forthcoming ‘star-wars’!
