As gently as the breeze,
You touch my everyday.
Your closeness comforts me,
Fills colors in a world that's gray.

You bring warmth,
With your words of care.
Which make me feel precious,
More than I hope to dare.

Even after you have left,
In my ears, your laughter resounds.
Listening to which, even today,
My joy knows no bounds.

I still see your twinkling eyes
Who promise me life's fun.
When you are in my thoughts,
Life seems a dream run.

When I am low,
You become the breeze.
Lift my spirits,
Make my worries freeze.

When I feel left out,
All alone in the cold.
You become the glowing warmth
That embraces me in its folds.

I don't know where I would have been,
Had you not been there to protect me from the unseen.

I will sacrifice my sleep,
To await your call.
And miss you every time,
I see the rain fall.

I will pray for you,
Every night before I sleep.
And selfishly add a wish,
To see you in my dreams till the alarm beep.

I will miss you from the moment,
I open my eyes.
And continue to do that
Till my heart dies.

On this friendship's day,
I want to say,
I love you very much.
Your presence makes my day.

All the friends in the world,
Remind me of you.
No matter how many times I have said it before
I will still say - I love you.
