Repose
Oh sweet repose,
thou doth call me.
Quiet I shall come and rest easy
on the silken canvas
laid by your silent hand.
Slacken as I bend
into your patient restraint,
for my body is heavy
with peaceful inactivity
and my mind tranquil
in the quiet stillness.
