Man of Mist
A worldly man must first insist
That things of beauty still exist
That poetry must… in this world
Have yet the passion to persist
By the force of pen in hands of men
By resolve does worldly man resist
The fate of many others in
The surrender to desist
Stand ramrod straight in parsing prose
In search of rhyme… to ne’er twist
Be a man of words, be one that knows
to not become… a man of mist
