Tarnished Angels
Go anywhere in this world
and you will see them
the tarnished angels
discarded by our society.
Those who fell victim
to life’s cruel side.
Paying the penance for mistakes
that befell their lives.
Soiled by depravity
and cast a drift on a sea of unforgiving
to flounder near the ending mile.
The tarnished angels of our society.
