Sitting On The Veranda
Sitting on the veranda
watching the world go on its way.
The sun is out and the sky is blue,
you can see forever
as you rest back in your chair
with not a worry in the world to bother you.
Just sitting on the veranda
watching the world go on its way.
A gentle breeze rustles the leaves
that is in front of you,
a gentle breeze to ease
the weariest of souls
as you sit and relax on the veranda
leaving the rest of the world
a million miles away.
