I am that man
That tells stories of the past
Of that life
That I once had
Of endless scars on my heart and mind
That never seem to heal
Of things that I have seen
That life, that still doesn't seem real
I am that survivor
From that world of dreams
Dreams that I should never have had
And yet
That life, was that life
