Overwhelming Love

In the shower here I stand,
with tears falling down with every drip of water,
thinking of the worst things,
I'm missing you more than ever,
mind scrambled, filling with so many thoughts,
I'm just trying to comprehend everything at once.
Why? why, do I have such strong feelings for you..
In only a matter of days, I don't understand just yet.
Barely done getting dressed,
I hear a knock on my bedroom door,
as I open the door my mother stands there with a phone in one hand,
her not knowing who the person is, hands me the phone,
Puzzled, I answered questionably 'Hello? '
To my surprise a voice came to.. 'Why, Hello there beautiful'.
my mouth instantly dropped in disbelief,
I wondered..could this be? Is this really him?
To my relief it indeed was..
the person I fell for over the weekend, he was on the other line.
Tears of Joy, and happiness over ran my face,
and a giant bright smile quickly appeared.
Just hearing his voice made everything right in the world, yet again.
