My Dark Angel

I could reach out for him in all my solo mornings
Him at my borders, guarded, steel and strength
My dark angel brooding, hooded eyes on me
Not a moment's let, and yet the turbulence!

He is everyone I want, he is all I know of life
He is my mystery intact, he is every unspoken wish
Every moment we leave undone, has its unsung charm
We slough our essence on each other, every whim's dance

He is mine and he is not, like I am his on not a single night
Like hunting together, like feeding on each other
We devour moments that slakes on our distance
Watching resilience and steel sing their swan song

I am every woman, I carry all his mysteries
I am everything he will never have in his lives
I am earth, I am moon, I am femininity and nighttime
The Yin he starves for in his fires, suns and daytime…
