Music is my solace
I can escape into it's
Rhythm and rhyme
I can feel the beat
Always different and pulsing
Giving me time to think
I can get lost in
The words
They give me an outlet
Music is my solace
One of the things
That is truly mine
Music is my escape
From the harsh reality
Even if it lasts only a moment
Music is my medicine
For everything
