Detonate
On all the other days
He'll incessantly…
Ignore my calls.
But on Valentine's Day
And on his Birthday
He'll surely
Pick up my calls
As if waiting
For me to say
Happy Valentine's Day
And wish him a
Happy Birthday
By gifting him
My broken heart
So that once again
He's able to
Exploit my weaknesses
And hammer in those
Cracks and crevices
And once and forever
Detonate my heart -
Into a zillion pieces…
