I carry my corpse
Closer to the embers of death,
The touch
Of your magic wand
In some form or other
Rejuvenates me
Telling me
How much you still need me
Around here.

I built these tall walls
Of ego and selfishness around me,
The waves of your tears
Erodes them
Shattering them
To slight crumbles.
Telling me how much you still adore
The never growing child in me.

As bit by bit
I bury my heart
Cowering, deep into the caverns of sorrow
The saplings of your love
Germinates and grows
Pulling me back to sunshine
My place.
Telling me just how precious
I, still am to you.

I give up and give in to the wounds
Time has inflicted on me.
