Free Riding
Straight up the free ride trail,
anticipating.
Burning legs, sweating brow,
the fun is awaiting.
Gear down one more time,
keep pushing on.
gotta get to the top of the hill
wanna have some fun,
gotta get to the top of the hill
then begins the run.
'Victory is mine.'
Top of the trail,
time for hydrating.
Pause for a breath
then it's back on your wheels,
downhill's awaiting.
Wind rushin (ahh...so cool)
'damn helmet's hot',
eyes watering,
smiling broad, fishtailing
through the rocks.
Hands gripping on handlebars,
loving that sweet ride.
Free riding's EXTREME fun,
especially the down side.
