I knew I loved you
right from the start
You changed the rhythm of my heart
Even thou it would beat at a steady pace
Whenever you came around,
it would suddenly start to race
Other times slightly flutter and redden my face
This thing for you I just can't erase
For no one seems to be able to replace you
Or just fit in your place
Even thou you're gone now
I still can't escape
The times we shared
so long ago
I can still even see your face
