A Cry For The People

It was really sad,
When the newsreporter said
That the count of (13) people
In the state of Colorado were ofically dead

That at a movie cinema
many others were wounded and
A baby was among those njured too

At the hands of an angry gunman
On a dark path
Who decide to unfold his evil plan
To steal the hopes and dreams of many,

Now, we the people just can't sit aloofed,
ignoring the loud cries of the love ones
this guman decided to shoot

When there is complete evidence,
Authority has solid proof; for
There is action that is needed
The pursuit of justice is due

This tradegy could of happened to anyone; anywhere
Who knew?

Who shall hear the cries of our hurting people?
Better yet,
Who shall pursue?
In memory of those who lost their lives violenty, much too soon
