To Begin To Write Again
TO BEGIN TO WRITE AGAIN
To begin to write again
After a long absence-
To wake from the dead
Slowly painfully,
With great difficulty
Uncertainly -
To try again
To falter forward
with each word
Until at last somehow -
One is oneself again
Writing
And somewhat
believing in it.
