This Year I Will Repent Too
This year I will repent too -
Will I come closer to G-d?
Will I be a better person?
Or will I simply go on
As I usually do
Imperfect in my ways
Small and striving
A man of no great sins
And many small private failings?
I will pray with all my soul-
But whether I will really change anything
And whether I will make it to repentance time next year
God alone can answer.
