There Is A Poem I Could Have Written
There is a poem I could have written
Instead I had an errand of life I needed to do
The errand took longer than I expected =
Many years later long after the errand was incompletely done
I remembered there was a poem to write -
But I cannot remember how it was supposed to go-
And it will always now be
as if it never was-
